浅野冬樹さんが日本神経科学学会より2023年度『時実利彦記念神経科学優秀博士研究賞』を授与されました。内在性SIK3の睡眠における役割や暗期最初の覚醒の立ち上がりに視交叉上核のSIK3が必要であることを見出してNature誌やPNAS誌に発表するなど、睡眠や概日リズムの理解を進めた成果が認められました。おめでとうございます！
Asano-san was awarded the “Toshihiko Tokimitsu Memorial Award for Outstanding Postdoctoral Research in Neuroscience” for the year 2023 by the Japan Neuroscience Society. He was recognized for his achievements in advancing our understanding of sleep and circadian behaviors, including the discovery of the role of endogenous SIK3 in sleep and the necessity of SIK3 in the suprachiasmatic nucleus for the strong awakening at the beginning of the dark or active period, published in Nature and PNAS.
